Okay, everyone, now you’re spoiling me! But I don’t mind being spoiled. In fact, I love it. So any further nominations for the Versatile Blogger Award (or any other blogging award—don’t be shy!) will be very gratefully accepted.
Thank you so much to DogDaz for the nomination, but also much, much more. Firstly, she put up a blog yesterday that alerted me to the fact that the three bags of dog treats I had recently bought would potentially give my beloved pup kidney failure…or worse. For that alone she deserves a Medal of Honor, in my opinion.
But she also does something else—I must admit, to keep myself sane at work, I frequently look at two websites: ICanHasCheezburger and ICanHasHotdog. These silly sites with pics of cute cats and dogs have “captions” written by people but made to seem like they’re written by the animals. AND they are frequently misspelled, because they’re animals, geddit?
DON’T JUDGE. If you’d written as many blogs as I have about mold remediation, pastrami sandwiches, criminal activity and homeowners insurance (to just name a few) plus websites on such delightfully fascinating topics as wireless technology and freight forwarding, you’d look at silly dog and cat pictures too.
And NOW I have DogDaz too! She posts at least one absolutely darling photo of animal gorgeousness each day. And for that I also thank her.
So, in honor of DogDaz, her kindred love of all things four-legged and furry and her nomination, I dedicate this blog post to my pets. Yes, you can stop reading now if you want to. Although I must admit that the cat is such a freaking poser the pics have turned out quite well.
Seriously, he would sit there all day posing for pics.

It’s taken a few years, but now the cat (Lenin) gets along with the dog (Kayla). She is like his annoying little sister, and he tolerates her. But then sometimes you see them be really sweet to each other…. 🙂
