The Tiny Kitchen Remodel…

17 Apr

…has well and truly begun! Very exciting…

That’s my dad and Victor destroying the kitchen that’s been there since the ’50s. I’m hoping that Sunset magazine will publish my story–keep your fingers crossed for me! I would literally die happy if I was somehow in Sunset magazine!

How exciting! I want to remodel my kitchen even though it was recently remodeled before we bought our house last year. Can’t wait to see the finished product!

I am very excited too! Although it won’t be bigger, I should have more cupboard space and counter space, which will both be amazing! Should be finished by tomorrow, fingers crossed…

Oh this is VERY exciting! I heard, well actually I read it every day on a sign outside the kitchen store on the way to work, that food TASTES better in a new kitchen!! Just sayin.

That sounds like a good motto to me! We’ll be testing that out in a day or so, methinks! πŸ™‚

Yea!!!! Good for you!! I hope you took a lot of pics before the distruction. I would like to show a Chef I know pretty well what all (or little) you were working with.

I did take a few photos in the “before” stage–and it’s not going to be any bigger, just updated. πŸ™‚

Sigh. It really would be a milestone for me. I wish I was at home cataloging it a bit more, but need to work!

D**n work!! Always getting in the way. Say no more, I’m flying out with my trusty Nikon to snap the progress ;-)! Just have a Bloody Maria waiting for me.

Thanks so much! It’s so hard to concentrate on work today when I’d rather be there helping and seeing it happen. Thanks for the finger-crossingβ€”I’ll take as much help as I can get! πŸ™‚

So excited for you! Can’t wait for you to see it finished. Id like to see a photo of the glee on your face at the unveiling! As well as the finished “still tiny” improved space. Cheers to you and the husband.

Now I’m the one dancing around giddy that you’re finally getting your remodel! And that it will be finished tomorrow?! Sweeeet!! And if I had any string to pull with Sunset, I’d yank it in a heartbeat πŸ˜€

I hope it’s finished by tomorrow–The process has taken more time and $$ than we expected, and The Husband is about to divorce The Father. At least he still loves me…! πŸ™‚
And thanks for the Sunset good-vibes! πŸ™‚

So funny! πŸ™‚ At least you’re not involved in the divorce πŸ˜‰ And the Sunset feature will make all this worth it πŸ˜‰

I will, thanks! I hope to write the blog about the events this week, but it’s still not quite finished and set up. The Husband is at his wit’s end!

Does it make you hungry, baby?
