Came home tonight to find two surprises. The Husband installed a fantastic new faucet and some amazing tile for a backsplash!!

Just put all my spices in my slide-out rack–how happy am I!?

Pics of the slide-out spice rack and corner carousel to come. Walked into the kitchen this morning and am still amazed that it’s MINE!! πŸ™‚

Beautiful! I just totally relate to your excitement…makes me want to take a sledgehammer to my kitchen…

Well, this might give you pause–the “cheap” remodel cost us 3x our estimate, which could have meant a really nice holiday away. But I’m loving it! I can’t believe it’s my kitchen when I walk in! πŸ™‚

The spice rack is the highlight of the kitchen, and second place goes to the carousel in the corner that we had to move the sink for. Yippee!

Seriously…..I’d never be able to use the kitchen again……it is too nice. I would just want to polish it all the time.

I can’t even imagine the water pressure that comes out of that tap! And the tiles are lovely. I’d probably break the slide-out rack within an hour – I wouldn’t be able to stop sliding it in and out.
I’m so pleased that this has worked out so nicely, you deserve it.

Thank you so much! And your comment about the rack is hilarious. I am trying hard not to keep playing with it. And it’s so funny you mentioned water pressure–I remember being obsessed with it in the UK! South facing and water pressure were the first things you checked in a flat. πŸ˜‰

A new faucet – especially one this awesome – is such a treat! And a surprise? I like his style!

The Husband is amazing. I’m a very lucky lady! πŸ™‚

It’s a used faucet, which makes it even better. We took the cabinets, the sink and the faucet out of a house that was going to be demolished. I’m so proud that the new Tiny Kitchen is reused and recycled!

SQUEEE! Been cooking all day and I love it! But at the moment it’s like cooking in someone else’s kitchen. But I’m sure I’ll learn my way around soon enough. After all, as you might have noticed, it’s *not* that big! πŸ˜‰
